On Saturday, our community will come together for our community 2-way radio frequency update and audit. This year, we’ve made some much-needed changes that will add more fun to communication and community engagement in years to come!
Yes, we’re adding some fun to this year’s update with Boerewors rolls, music, raffles, and some of our valued partners in the Germiston area!
It is important for all community members who use our 2-way radios to update their frequency at least once a year to ensure that we can all communicate effectively and efficiently in the case of an emergency. An admin fee of R150 is payable, which will go towards the ICASA fees!
Please remember to bring your fully charged 2-way radio along, and be sure to come hungry.
Boerewors Rolls, Coffee, and cold drinks will be on sale and you can also look forward to live music and raffles!
Please take note that all members who have not updated their radio frequency will lose access to broadcasts and will be removed from the WhatsApp groups. Penalities will be levied for late updates and verification!
